Apache Iceberg

Write Iceberg tables against your catalog.

Write data into Apache Iceberg tables against the catalog of your choice.

Capabilities: Sink (experimental)

What it does

Writes Iceberg data files and manifests and commits them to the table through its catalog. This is a self-contained sink — it owns both staging and the table apply, so it needs no separate Output Format. Append and upsert are supported, the latter through equality-delete files.

Configuration

Create the connection on the Connections page; the form shows the catalog, warehouse and storage settings this connector needs. Supported catalogs include Apache Polaris, AWS Glue and Project Nessie, using a storage connection you have already configured.

Notes

As an experimental connector its surface may change, so validate against your catalog before relying on it in production. For the managed-Iceberg-on-S3 variant see AWS S3 Tables.
