ClickHouse

ClickHouse as a sink.

ClickHouse, a columnar OLAP database, as a sink for BARRY.

Capabilities: Sink

What it does

Writes into ClickHouse Cloud, open-source ClickHouse and hosted variants by streaming rows straight into an INSERT over the HTTP interface. Append is the natural fit, which suits the event-style and analytical tables ClickHouse is built for.

Configuration

  • Host and port — the HTTP interface (8443 for TLS, 8123 for plain)
  • Database
  • User / password
  • TLS, where your endpoint requires it

Notes

The target table is expected to exist with a schema compatible with the incoming rows. Point the connection at an account scoped to the target database.
