Azure Event Grid

Start transports from Event Grid events.

Azure Event Grid as an inbound trigger and an outbound alert channel.

What it does

• Trigger — inbound Event Grid is a push webhook; there is no broker connection to hold (see Triggers).
• Alert — publishes an event to an Event Grid topic when a run reaches an outcome.

Alert configuration

• Topic endpoint
• Access key (topic key)
• The event subject, type, data version and payload

Channel field values can embed placeholder variables such as {{transport.name}} and {{client.name}}, resolved when the alert fires.
