What it does

Sends mail through an SMTP server. It runs cloud-direct from the server when a run reaches an outcome you have chosen to be notified about.

Configuration

• Host and port
• From and To addresses
• Credentials

Notes

The message is sent by an Alert that references this channel and fires on the condition you set — a failed run, a long-running run, or whichever outcome matters to your team. Field values can embed placeholder variables such as {{transport.name}} and {{client.name}}, resolved when the alert fires, so a body like Transport {{transport.name}} failed on {{client.name}} arrives already filled in.
