What it does

Writes files into a Google Cloud Storage bucket, running cloud-direct, and pairs with an Output Format for the file format and folder layout.

Configuration

• Bucket
• Object prefix

Authentication

• A service-account JSON key
• Application Default Credentials — no stored secret; uses the ambient GCP identity
• Service-account impersonation

Application Default Credentials keeps the destination free of stored secrets where the server already runs with a GCP identity.
