BARRYBARRY

Features

Source changed? BARRY keeps up.

Columns get added, renamed and retyped. BARRY notices, adapts the destination, and records exactly what changed.

Schema drift is the quiet killer of data pipelines. A developer adds a column on Monday, and by Wednesday a report is missing data nobody noticed disappear. BARRY watches for exactly that. Before each run it compares the shape of the source with what the destination expects, and when something has moved – a new column, a removed one, a changed type – it adapts the destination and writes a record of the change against that run. Nothing is applied destructively and nothing is silently dropped, so you can look back and see precisely when a column appeared and what happened to it. If you would rather be told before anything adapts, an alert can fire on drift instead.

  • Automatic detection of added, removed and changed columns
  • Column-level change history per run
  • Predictable, reviewable destination updates
  • No surprise breakage in the middle of the night
