Lineage is only useful if it is accurate, and it is only accurate if nobody has to maintain it. BARRY builds the graph from the pipelines themselves: every source, transport and destination you have configured appears automatically, and the picture updates as your setup changes. You can follow a dataset forward to everything it feeds, or trace a suspicious value backwards to where it came from, right down to the individual column. Schema changes are recorded against the run that saw them, so a column that changed type in March is something you look up rather than reconstruct. When one pipeline is all you care about, the graph can focus on just that transport.
