Plain files, in the storage account or on the server that expects them.

Sometimes the right destination is not a table at all. A data lake zone, an archive, a partner who expects a file to appear on their server at seven in the morning — all of it is still everyday enterprise data work. These connectors write the output of a transport as files, in the format you selected, into object storage or onto a file server. Authentication is the part that usually hurts, so each cloud connector supports the full range its platform offers, from access keys through to managed and federated identities, meaning no long-lived secret has to be stored anywhere if your platform can avoid it.

Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2Sink

Writes into hierarchical-namespace storage with the full range of Azure authentication options — access key, SAS, service principal, managed identity or workload identity federation.

Azure Blob StorageSink

Writes into flat-namespace blob accounts, for storage that was not created with a hierarchical namespace.

S3-compatible storageSink

Writes to Amazon S3 and anything speaking the same API — MinIO, Cloudflare R2, Ceph and others — with six authentication methods including OIDC-based role assumption.

Google Cloud StorageSink

Writes into GCS buckets using a service-account key, application default credentials, or impersonation of another service account.

Writes files into the Files area of a Fabric lakehouse — the right choice when Fabric is your platform but you want plain files rather than managed tables.

Delivers files to an FTP server, with plain, explicit TLS and implicit TLS all handled by the same connector.

SFTPSink

Delivers files over SSH, authenticating with a password or a private key — the usual route for exchanging data with partners.
